This is sooo easy! All you do is pour milk or water into the carafe, add chocolate powder or syrup, secure the lid, and push the "on" button. Perfect Hot Cocoa!
I've had this gadget for about 2 yrs. now. I love it and use it daily. My only complaint is that it is a pain to clean. I wish it came in two pieces for easier cleaning. But that is my only complaint. Otherwise this is a wonderful tool to make a smooth, hot cup of cocoa!

Neither stove nor microwave needed for hot cocoa
I've discovered fans of this electric cocoa maker online and have tried an assortment of their recipes. My preference still is skim milk, cacao powder, fine quality vanilla, bit of finely ground Italian Roast coffee, and a Splenda which heat and froth into a delectable beverage without using a stove or microwave. Simply put all your ingredients into the vessel, put on the lid, plug it in and push the ON button. The little magnetic paddle and heating element do the work and you can have your hot cocoa in a few minutes. You can make from a cup to 4 cups and it automatically turns off when ready. Enjoy the cocoa and if you immediately fill the pot with water and a drop of dishwashing liquid then run it again for a minute, cleanup is done after you rinse out the sudsy water.

The Mr. Coffee Cocomotion Hot Chocolate Maker seems to be unavailable now, but the picture of the Sunbeam Automatic Hot Chocolate Maker sure does look like the Cocomotion without its bright logo on the bottom.

Love it, had it for years now
When is is the season for hot drinks, this gets pulled out several times a week. I make my own hot chocolate blends with pure cacao (Valhrona is my favorite) differing amounts of sugar, vanilla, and sometimes a small handful of chocolate chips.

It works well, heats to a good temperature, is easy to clean, and is used much more often than I would have guessed.

The FactoryDepot Fails at Customer Service/Satisfaction
At Halloween 2009, my beloved Cocomotion Machine jumped off the counter and shattered. Cat was brought in for questioning, but no charges were ever filed.

Since that time we have tried, without success, to order a replacement from amazon's partner - The FactoryDepot. Although the item has NEVER shown out of stock, an order for one will not complete because the order screen changes the amount to zero to reflect in stock availability.
I have complained to Amazon repeatedly, and they actually gave me the FactoryDepot's telephone number. Unfortunately, calls to the number, regardless of the hour, are always met with "you have called outside normal business hours - try back".

I just want a Cocomotion Machine. I dislike eBay, but it seems I have little option.

Easy and durable
I've had my Cocomotion for about 7 years now and it's never failed me. I love this thing and you can't beat the price.
Buy one! It works best with powdered cocoa w/ milk and water. I once used a pricey Williams Sonoma cocoa that was shaved chocolate and I think the waxiness of it made the machine unhappy. But it powered through and still delivered.
