I have not had a chance to fully test the Griddler yet, but wanted to comment on the service.

I received this item as described Brand New in the box in less than 24 hours from the time I placed the order. High marks to Amazon and Gourmet Kitchen Gallery.

Great addition to my cooking appliances
I really enjoy using the Griddler. We have made countless dishes on the Griddler both the grill and the panini sides.

The only thing I would recommend is that you do not make bacon on it. Even though you have the drip trays there to catch grease, the bacon splatters and it was all over my counter. Bacon came out great but it took me a while to clean up.


We do totally enjoy the panini aspect of the appliance. We have gotten very creative in our panini making.

Grease splatters and drips everywhere
I used my beautiful grill for the first time yesterday to cook 2 hamburgers. They were identically sized, flat burgers and the lid closed well and evenly over them.. yet the grease easily got out from within the ~cm gap between the top and bottom plates and splattered on the counter as well as on the knobs of the griddler. Also, when I opened the lid to remove the cooked burgers, grease dripped down the top plate onto the counter behind the machine. These were not particularly fatty burgers either, I think they were 90%. Very disappointing. The Foreman grills are much better designed in this respect.

Great Multi-tasker
I live in an apartment so outdoor grilling isn't an option. This is a great alternative. Although you won't get the smokey taste, the cooking is fast and it makes impressive grill marks. To date I've made steaks, pork chops, chicken, panini's and grilled vegtable. Also the fact that you can remove the grates makes clean-ups a snap. Great machine. I would buy it again in a heartbeat.

Great product! Replaced a George Forman with this and it is in another world from the George Forman!
IT works great and is easy to clean. Can't ask for more!
