The Saeco Aroma traditional espresso machine is the only way to make true Italian espresso. Good Machine for a reasonable price
I purchased this machine for my coffee loving husband. I bought it as a Christmas gift based after considering the reviews and prices for other machines and am very happy with the purchase. It has been five months and we have had no problems with this espresso maker. Many other, more expensive machines experienced problems (based on the reviews) and I spent extensive time trying to find a machine that was reasonably priced, well functioning, and made a good coffee. I am pleased to report that this is an excellent value for the price. The espresso is hot, the machine is easy to clean, and my husband has officially replaced his morning Starbucks with this machine, to everyone (but Starbuck's) satisfaction. We highly recommend this machine.

Wow...I'm Impressed
My wife and I love to have a cappuccino every morning to start the day. I bought a $100 unit and wore it out. I then read the reviews of the Saeco 30013 and gave it a try. We've only been using it for about 30 days and I can truthfully say it produces as good a cup of cappuccino as we've ever had in Starbucks or other coffee establishments. Truly the best thing I can say is WOW!!

Saeco Aroma
Excellent espresso machine for the price. What it lacks in asthetic appearance is more than made up for it's capabilities. Learning curve may be a bit steep especially if you aren't/weren't a barista at one point in your life. But once you find the right beans, the right grind, the correct tamp, and how to froth milk properly, the Saeco Aroma delivers a consistently delicious--and beautiful (see my posted image)-- cup of coffee every single time.

Excellent machine - quality for years (from user of previous model)
I actually own the previous model (Saeco Classico, now replaced by the Aroma), but I am so happy with it that I came back to write this review. I have had it and used it heavily for five years. Never once have I had a problem with it, with an occasional descaling it runs as new. The brewing routine is obviously a little more elaborate than for automatic machine, but you get to keep control over all the parameters. The machine itself is quite heavy and rugged, but it lends it a solid, professional look. And the espresso is fantastic - I do not recall having a better cup at any restaurant or coffee shop, nor have I come across an equally good home machine.

The espresso machine I have been dreaming of...
I have had my machine for a little over a month and couldn't be happier. It is simple to use, easy to clean and makes great espresso very quickly. It's worth every penny!
