Best Coffee Maker I've Used...this is my second one
A friend gave us one of these coffee makers for Christmas a few years ago. It has made excellent coffee every day and finally seems to be wearing out. I ordered another for the time the other coffee maker quits working. I like the Bunn method because the water stays hot and makes coffee fast and it's not sitting on a warmer so it doesn't get burnt while you're having your first cup or two. If you want a cup before it quits brewing, simply open the top flap, pour your coffee without drips, and close the flap to finish brewing. The carafe is insulated but it doesn't keep as hot as Thermos. If you like it really hot it's easy to heat in the microwave oven. We neglected to clean the insides of the brewing area of the coffeemaker for years, due to being busy, and when I recently cleaned it, using the brush, there was no residue of any kind. Amazing. I saved a lot of money by checking the Internet. I ordered from Amazon because I got the best price. That is usually the case, so I order a lot from Amazon.com.

BUNN BTX-B Coffee Brewer
This is our second BUNN ThermoFresh Coffee Brewer. After being spoiled for two years at home with the speed of brewing, my husband and I decided to purchase another one to keep in our motorhome; so on crisp autumn morings there would literally be no longer than a 3 minute wait to start sipping piping hot coffee! The unit is pricy but worth every cent in our opinion.

Bunn BTX-B Coffee Maker Review
It is an extremely fast coffee maker - about 3 minutes. Great! According to the fact sheet, the coffee meets the requirement temperature most people like; I personally like it hotter but my husband loves the current temperature. I put my coffee in the microwave to get it hotter.

Makes the best coffee i have ever had
I researched thorougly before buying this coffee maker and am totally satisfyed both with its quality of construction and most of all the taste of the coffee it brews. You will not be dissatisfyed if u buy this model and make of coffee maker. Of course Amazon was great to order from as usual. If Amazon has the product i want there is no compitition as far as i am concerned.

NEWER carafe much Nicer
Okay, Can't say I have had this bunn long but......I read all the reviews before I purchased. I called BUNN because I was confused on the different carafes at my local Target store. Same model different carafes so I called bunn to ask which carafe is the newer model and they told me that it was the one without the black ring complete stainless steel with a tapered design. Smaller at the top than at the bottem. Check out the bunn website and you will see the picture. Or best buy has the right one on their site. So if you are concerned about the carafe issue get the new model.
So far...I have been through many coffee pots. I owned two bunns years ago and stood up longer than anything I have recently owned.
I like the safety with no burner and I can keep the coffee hot hot for 3 hours in this new carafe. (Mind you it is still fairly new). I like there is no on or off switch so I don't forget when I leave home and it is just plain simple. Not very attractive unit but for $150 I hope I get some life from it.
Makes the coffee in less than 3 minutes as advertised!
I hope I won't have to update this review to tell you otherwise but I like this design of this new carafe!
You can clean it easily and it has a screw top.
So if anyone else is confused out there about the carafe I hope I helped you out. There isn't a lot of "bling" with this pot but you don't drink the "bling" just the coffee. There are no pause in serves/timers/or wake up to coffee cooking buttons but I am looking foward to years of faithful service.
Lets hope we get our $$'s worth.
