Expected more
I bought this one because my old perfect pod maker stopped working. So, I bought the deluxe version hoping it would last longer. Although it does make my coffee pods, it doesn't get as hot as my old one did. Instead of it taking me 5 seconds to make my pod, it takes closer to 30 seconds. Doesn't sound like a lot of time, but holding down the top for 30 seconds is kinda annoying. And then sometime I have to do it a second time because the pod isn't sealed all the way around.

Doesn't work for me but nice product
I have a illy ese espresso pod machine.
I was hoping this pod maker works for my machine but the pod filter size was totally different.
This is not a pod maker for illy machines.
BUT!!!
I like this pod maker.
This will be really nice for whole other coffee and loose teas.
I love coffee but also tea. And I have a bunch of loose teas in my cabinet now I can enjoy those more easy.
And also I can use this when I make stock too.
I was little disappointed at the first time but now I really like it and use it very well.

Amost perfect pod maker
I recently purchased our second Perfect Pod Maker. My wife and I love having this appliance because it allows us to make coffee pods for our Senseo single-cup brewer using our favorite coffees, mostly home-ground whole beans from Starbucks. It also allows us to customize the strength of the brew based on the amout of coffee we place in the pod. The pods we make brew much better coffee than that which we got from Senseo's pods. And our pods are less exoensive that those we had been buying from Cafejo.

We had to buy a second Perfect Pod Maker because the first would no longer heat up sufficiently to seal the pods. The first pod maker lasted about 2 years. This is an issue I have read about in other reviews, and it is the only reason I gave the pod maker 4 stars rather than 5.

So when you buy your Perfect Pod Maker, I recommend you set your expectations of the life of the product accordingly, and you'll be thrilled with your purchase!
