Cuisinart Thermal Coffee Maker
Great coffee maker. This is the second Cuisinart coffee maker I have purchased & would recommend Cuisinart's coffee makers. Keeps the coffee hot for hours!

Excellent! Lives completely up to its claim.
This carafe is the same as the one that came with the original coffee maker. It keeps the coffee hot all day and you don't have to worry about the coffee burning. I was very happy to see that I could get a replacement for my original. When I ordered it, the description made it seem that it may not come with the cap, but it did. I received the carafe in about a week, which was just fine.

Keeps it HOT!
Love this Thermal Carafe. If it is at least 50% full, it will keep the coffee hot for 8+ hours!!!

Arrived defective
I purchased this item new. It arrived and upon inspection the carafe was wet as if it had just been rinsed out and shipped. I tested the carafe with hot water and liked how it kept it hot, but the cap doesn't sit well on the carafe and leaks when inverted. I am returning the item to Small Appliance in Oceanside NY, but have to pay shipping to return it. In the end I am left with nothing but paying for shipping both ways for a defective product. If I had realized the item wasn't being sold directly by Amazon I may not have purchased it; knowing what I do now I would not purchase from an Amazon third party.

Coffee stays hot, carafe pours slowly.
This carafe does a very good job keeping coffee hot. The six women in our office use it daily. Don't twist the small center knob that you can see sticking up from the lid - a plastic marble will fall into your coffee but you probably won't see it until you finish the cup - a bit disconcerting. Pouring from the carafe is more of a dribble (not messy, just slow) than a flow but I guess a small opening helps keep the coffee warm.
