Replace your old Mavea filter with this maxtra filter, and keep enjoying tasty, filtered, and refreshing water. It is designed for use with all Mavea pour-through-filter systems (but also works with the Bosch Tassimo Hot Beverage System), and uses carbon and ion exchange beads to reduce chemicals, organic compounds, and heavy metals in your water. No pre-soaking is needed for use, and a handy micro-screen prevents black carbon particles from entering your water. The filter can be used with Mavea's recycling program, which encourages environmentally-friendly living, and they only need replacing after 40 gallons, or approximately 2 months, of use.
